The real estate market can be cyclical and a roller coaster. Even for some of the best top producers that have figured out how to maintain a source of income and leads coming in. Some agents focus on making money on hot quarters like spring and summer.
Due to this some agents have adopted side gigs or part time jobs to offset during the slow times. In my case I got my interior designer certification to pair up with my real estate business. I saw it as a way to make extra money, meet new clients, enjoy doing something I have fun in, still stay in the field and even learn more. For many being a full time real estate agent can be nerve wrecking at times so I looked for a way to stand out and also gain more leads and business in both avenues of revenue.
Now I get the opportunity to offer my clients both services and or it opens up even more work for my husband as he is in the field as well. -
